- About Me -

Hi, and welcome to my homepage! I'm Tim Wilson from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm 17 years old and am in Year 12 at Pulteney Grammar School.

I come from a Christadelphian family and all my good friends are Christadelphians which is great because they have the same beliefs and standards as I do. I get out and do things with my friends as often as I can, and not only do I have heaps of fun with people I really like but I can learn more about the Bible and the exciting message it has for us.

This site is mostly made up of photos of different Youth Group outings and camps I have been to, especially the 1999 Christadelphian Youth Conference in Sydney. There aren't many photos in the "Photo Album" section yet ... I haven't had time to scan any more up-to-date photos in .. but I will (hopefully!) be constantly updating it and keeping it interesting. Also most of the photos are linked to a larger picture, so just click on them to zoom in.

Okay, so that's enough about me. Hope you enjoy my page, and feel free to drop me a line. Happy surfing!

- Sydney Youth Conference 1999 -

Once every two years, the Christadelphians hold a Youth Conference which runs for a week and is based around the study of the Bible. The 1999 Youth Conference was held in Sydney, Australia, and centred around the study and discussion of the prophecy of Daniel.

The beautiful surroundings of the Collaroy Centre provided an ideal location for the conference with many dormitories, conference rooms and ovals.

Each day started with breakfast in the dining room, followed by a reading from the book of Judges and some discussion on it in our "readings groups", and then the discussion group on a section of the book of Daniel. Lunch was served up next and then the afternoon was set aside for either free time, an organized activity or a study. Tea followed, and a play or study would take place after that, followed by supper, a meditation and free time until 11:00.

The Youth Conference was a really great place to make new friends, learn a lot about Daniel, make new resolutions and get a real spiritual lift. In short, it was superb!

- Post Conference 1999 -

The 1999 Post-Conference trip took in the beautiful Blue Mountains, only a few hours out of Sydney. Two bus-loads of us travelled to the Binda Bush Cabins which became our base for the next three days, from where we went to the Jenolan Caves and Three Sisters for half-day trips.

Each night we would have tea and then walk up to the "Readings Shed" where we did the daily readings around the group and talked about them, and then mucked around, playing games or going back to the camp for some hymn-singing and to warm up in front of the fire. We also went grass-karting on the last day which was a real blast.

Post-Conference was great - an sensational way to really get to know people and strengthen the resolutions we had made at Conference.

- Photo Album -

This page contains links to my other photo pages which contain photos I have taken during 1999 at places like Glenlock Camp, Enfield Youth Group Camp and other Sunday School and Suburban outings.

If you have any good photos you want me to put up, email them to me with a bit of background information about where, when, who and all the rest and I'll do my best to put them up.

Warning - these pages are fairly large and could take a long time to load. I wouldn't suggest trying to load them using anything slower than a 28.8K modem.
